Description
Star brite Synthetic Blend 80W90 Lower Unit Gear Lube is designed for API GL-5, MT-1 service SAE J2360, and Mack GO-J, making it the perfect choice for long term performance. It's recommended for all engines over 100 hp, providing exceptional protection against rust and corrosion. With its special extreme pressure and anti-wear additives, this outboard gear oil ensures great thermal stability. The easy installation process involves draining old oil, installing the fill tube, refilling with new lubricant, and replacing the plugs.

Instructions
Refer to manufacturer's engine service manual for flushing and filling instructions. If none are available, first remove upper and lower plugs on lower unit gear case and completely drain old oil. Next, install fill tube into lower hole. We recommend using Star brite Lower Unit Lube Tube for 295 ml tubes or Star brite Lower Unit Quart Pump for 946 ml bottles for easy installation. Slowly refill unit with new lubricant until fluid appears at the lip of the upper hole. Finally, remove the hose from the bottom opening and close it with the plug. Tighten the plugs securely.
